Is Article26 legal advice? +
No. Article26 produces audit-defensible evidence and workflow — the same way Vanta and Drata sit alongside (not replace) lawyers for SOC 2. For binding legal questions, consult counsel.
What if the Digital Omnibus pushes Annex III to December 2027? +
It might. The proposal was tabled in November 2025 and is not yet adopted. Two things don’t change either way: Article 4 (AI literacy) has been in force since February 2025, and Article 50 (transparency) is on schedule for August 2026. Procurement teams are already asking — that’s structural.
Are we even a ‘deployer’? +
If your organisation uses an AI system in the course of its activity — including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, AI-powered SaaS, embedded chatbots or predictive CRMs — you are a deployer for the purposes of the EU AI Act. Article 26 obligations apply when those systems are classified high-risk under Annex III.
How is this different from a €50K consultancy? +
A consultancy walks out with your money and a Word document. Article26 leaves you with a live, versioned compliance file, training records, transparency snippets and a workflow you re-run every quarter. Price: subscription, not project fee.
Where is the data stored? +
EU data residency for the database. Cookieless analytics. Minimal data collection on this page (name, email, company size band). A DPA is available on request.
What does the €99 actually buy me? +
